DIGITAL LITERACY PROGRAM
Building Skills. Growing Confidence. Supporting Independence.
Hands-on technology classes delivered on-site in partnership with community organizations—equipping participants with practical digital skills for everyday life.

THE PROGRAM
Technology Made Practical. Confidence Made Possible.
TRUST Digital Literacy Program brings hands-on technology classes directly into the places people already gather. We provide hands-on digital literacy training that helps seniors and underserved communities confidently use computers, mobile devices, online services, productivity tools, and artificial intelligence while staying safe online. Our customized, instructor-led classes promote digital independence and equip participants with practical skills they can apply in their everyday lives.

HOW IT WORKS
TRUST Digital Confidence Learning Cycle
Every session follows the same rhythm — three classes to build a skill, one day to make it stick.
WEEK 1
Foundations
Participants learn essential concepts, tools, and terminology through clear, instructor-led demonstrations.
WEEK 2
Guided Practice
Participants strengthen their skills through hands-on activities, real-life scenarios, and personalized support.
WEEK 3
Confidence In Action
Participants apply what they have learned more independently, building the confidence to use technology in everyday life.
WEEK 4
Digital Discovery Lab
Participants revisit challenging skills, explore topics of personal interest, ask questions, and receive individualized assistance.
As TRUST introduces additional classes—such as AI, online safety, Google Workspace, telehealth, or smartphone skills—each topic can move through the same four-stage cycle: Learn. Practice. Apply. Explore.
What participants ask on Free Day helps shape the next topic we teach.

LESSONS FROM THE FIELD
What We’ve Learned
Two facilitators, every session
One leads the lesson for returning participants. One works one-on-one with anyone new so nobody falls behind, and nobody has to wait.
Free Day is why people stay
Once a month, there’s no new material—just room for the real questions that come up between classes.
+2.0 pts
largest comfort gain we measured — staying calm when something goes wrong.
100%
strongly agreed their instructor explained things in a way they understood.
